These new suites on the Emirates 777s are literally bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Not even exaggerating! But the only downside of their 777s is that they don’t have a bar or a shower in first class like the A380s do. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hiking to the top of Mount Sinai on Christmas Day was an epic way to spend Christmas this year. 🎄⛰️ I think this was also the first time I’ve ever burned more calories than I’ve consumed for Christmas. 💪🏻

Ever wondered what a pyramid looked like 10 years (half way) into construction? We do actually know, because the pyramid of the pharaoh Djedefre was only half finished when he died early. Although smack-dab in the middle of the suburbs, the surrounding hilly terrain makes it invisible from the many freeways that now pass by it. And while it’s not open to the public, it’s possible (with help) to get a special permit to visit this one-of-a-kind place.

In one of the most creative and touching gestures

In one of the most creative and touching gestures of loyal customer appreciation that I’ve ever seen from a restaurant, I showed up to @sapporojap restaurant last night, which is in the @sheratoncairohotel near my apartment in Cairo, and the staff there presented me with a custom set of chopsticks engraved with my name on them. This was both touching and genius.
